Ideal for live-sound, broadcast, fixed-installation, or studio-expansion applications, the Universal Audio Apollo e1x is a single-channel, PoE-powered, Dante-remote-controllable Unison mic/line preamp designed to integrate seamlessly into any Dante audio network. Engineered to expand the Apollo x16D, it unlocks Assistive Auto Gain and the full range of authentic Unison preamp emulations, including iconic models from API, Avalon, Manley, Neve, SSL, and more—all with Dante remote control.

Used standalone, the Apollo e1x offers full remote control via UAD Console including gain, 48V phantom power, pad, polarity inversion, and low-cut filter, making it a flexible endpoint for any Dante setup—no Apollo interface required.

Link multiple units using the included coupling bracket and built-in mic stand mount. Pair with the Apollo e2m stereo headphone amp and Apollo x16D for a complete professional-grade Dante I/O system.

Unison Technology

Emulates the tonal characteristics of classic mic preamps from API, Neve, Manley, SSL, and others, adjusting input impedance and gain staging to match the original hardware’s behavior.
