Perfect for live sound venues and networked recording studios, the Universal Audio Apollo x16D Ultimate+ is an 18×20 rackmount Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with Dante that gives you elite-class Apollo X 24-bit / 192 kHz audio conversion and HEXA Core Processing for real-time UAD plug-in processing over Thunderbolt and Dante at near-zero latency—on Mac and Windows computers. Apollo x16D Ultimate+ lets you mix and record live performances with 125 UAD plug-ins from Neve, SSL, Lexicon, and Auto-Tune, plus classic LA-2A and 1176 compressors, and more. You can also use Plug-In Scenes to recall settings instantly, even in the middle of a performance.

With 16×16 simultaneous network-audio I/O channels via Dante (or AES67 at 48 kHz), Apollo x16D lets you create 16-channel immersive audio mixes for Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, Sony 360, Reality Audio, and others. If you want to grow into a multiroom setup, you can link up to four Apollo x16Ds to build a 64-channel Dante system with network redundancy. Stereo AES I/O are also available for connection to professional, digital outboard hardware. The two Thunderbolt ports enable you to daisy-chain up to four Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo interfaces.
