The Moog Subharmonicon semi-modular analog synthesizer and sequencer brings all the Moog analog flavor with a rhythm entirely its own. First released in a limited run of 120 units in 2018, the Subharmonicon became an instant cult classic for its unique take on subharmonic synthesis and polyrhythmic sequencing. With two VCOs, each with two sub-oscillators and a 4-pole resonant filter, the Subharmonicon produces creamy all-analog tones with basement-dwelling lows and scorching high-end. Its truly innovative sequencing capabilities use a combination of two 4-step sequencers (one per VCO section) and a polyrhythmic generator to create wild, erratic polyrhythms and evolving harmonic chordscapes.
DFAM, the Drummer From Another Mother, generates fat analog rhythms without patching a single cable — and its modular patchbay yields endless creative possibilities. With two selectable analog filters — highpass and lowpass — the Moog DFAM can shape its dual oscillators and noise generator in a myriad of ways. From bright hi-hat sounds to deep kicks and thumps, DFAM delivers analog drum and percussion sounds at their finest. And by using its patchbay to creatively modulate things like oscillator pitch, filter cutoff, and noise level, you can generate all manner of bursts, clangs, and other sound effects. Complete with a dynamic eight-step sequencer, the Moog DFAM is a versatile percussion synth with undeniable vibe, and an ideal companion for the Subharmonicon.
A distinctly vintage-voiced, raw, and powerful synthesizer, the Mother-32 boasts switchable lowpass and highpass Moog ladder filters (20Hz–20kHz), a voltage-controlled 32-step sequencer for self-contained programming, a MIDI input for external control and MIDI to CV conversion, and a 32-point 3.5mm patchbay for interconnectivity and extended synthesis capabilities. The semi-modular Mother-32 serves up the iconic Moog analog sound, yet it’s also conveniently modern. Its massive analog tone spans the range from fat and wooly to sharp and metallic. You can route most of the Mother-32’s modulation sources via mini-toggle switches, giving you access to impressive sound design power. You’ll be able to generate earth-shaking bass, screaming leads, and atmospheric effects without ever touching a patch cable. And thanks to the 32-point patchbay onboard the Mother-32, you can easily connect to the DFAM and other Eurorack modules to create a vastly complex and extremely powerful synthesizer.
