While they look more than a little retro funky the sound of these is simply amazing. I use DIY deep canal microphones to measure ‘phones performance and DSP to then make anything sound like anything else with ‘phone virtualizer software I’ve written. I’m sure you’re skeptical but that’s ok. Point being that my personal favorite ‘phone is the expensive AKG K702 and I can make the MX365 sound pretty much exactly the same.

Bought these as they were on sale and for the brand name, and they look very stylish yet proffesional. Well I plugged them into my Curve 9320 and played AWOLNATION Sail (Juicy Dubset) and Wow! The range is so full and rich. I rightaway gave my previous Sony’s the toss. Only gripe would be the old school suppied foam ear pads. Everyone else suppied a form of gel/silicone pad. Not only for fit but also hygene and longevity. Other than that these are very very good. And I’m not one for submitting reviews.
