Designed for optimal integration with an HDL 28-A array, the black RCF HDL 36-AS active flyable subwoofer module provides 3200W peak (1600W RMS) of fast Class-D amplification, an impressive 135 dB max SPL, and the highly capable RDNet network control and monitoring system, rendering it a powerful solution for concert venues, theater houses, clubs, and other live stage applications.
The Baltic birch plywood cabinet, which is compatible with the HDL 28-A rigging, houses a 15″ neodymium woofer outfitted with a 4″ voice coil, allowing the HDL 36-AS to produce a frequency response of 40 to 140 Hz. Onboard DSP—controllable via the subwoofer’s local panel or through RDNet software on a Windows-equipped device—enables effective manipulation of level, delay, EQ, and more. Connectivity includes XLR in and thru, etherCON RDNet in and out, and powerCON input and output.
