The KLA 181 features an energy efficient 1000 watt power module. A polarity switch controls low frequency directivity and its pole receptacle is capable of mounting up to 2 KLA12 2-Way Line Array Loud Speakers.

QSC’s DEEP DSP algorithm provides extended bass by actively managing low-frequency transients. GuardRail protection circuitry prevents the amplifier module from unnatural and destructive clipping. An auto-standby mode will auto-engage after 5 minutes of inactivity to save energy. XLR and PowerCon input and thru connectors provide connection versatility, while a Phoenix connector allows daisy-chaining.Add epic low end to your live rig, with a KLA181 subwoofer from QSC. GuardRail protection allows the KLA181 to deliver maximum peak power, without overloading. That lets you keep the crowd amped up, without risking show-stopping shutdowns. The KLA181 sub also features both a balanced line-level XLR though jack and a locking AC power through jack – perfect for daisy chaining up to a set of KLA12 top boxes pole-mounted overhead.

Rigging & Deployment
For maximum deployment flexibility, KLA loudspeakers can be either ground deployed or flown. As a ground stack, up to two KLA12 enclosures can be mounted over the KLA181 or the KW181 subwoofer via a threaded pole socket, or without a sub using an appropriately rated loudspeaker stand. Arrays of up to 480 lbs (218 kg) (with a maximum five KLA12 and two KLA181 enclosures) can be flown via the included M10 fittings or the optional KLA AF12 array frame.
