JBL PRX418S Passive 18″ Subwoofer

The PRX418S Passive 18″ Subwoofer from JBL features a Selenium 457 woofer in a front-loaded, vented enclosure. It can handle 800W of continuous power and up to 3200W peak. The input panel incorporates a pair of Neutrik combo jacks that accept both speakON NL-2 and 1/4″ TS connectors wired in parallel. The PRX418S is supplied with pins +1/-1 connected to the woofer.

The enclosure is constructed of birch/poplar multi-laminate hardwood and coated in JBL’s rugged DuraFlex finish. The 16-gauge steel grille is CNC-machined for precision. The grille is internally lined with an acoustically transparent screen to provide additional driver protection and give a professional appearance.
