M-Audio AIR 192|14 8 In 4 Out Audio/MIDI Interface

Designed for musicians, producers, and audio engineers in search of studio-quality recordings, the M-Audio AIR 192|14 Audio/MIDI Interface is a 24-bit / 192 kHz audio interface with four combo XLR-1/4″ mic/line inputs, two 1/4″ fixed line inputs, and two 1/4″ Hi-Z instrument inputs with a specially designed gain and impedance stage for an accurate representation of guitar/bass signal plugged directly into the interface. Inputs 1-6 feature a segmented meter and level control, while inputs 7 and 8 are a fixed level input and use a single LED for signal/clip indication. There are four 1/4″ outputs (mains 1/L and 2/R, and outs 3 and 4) and two 1/4″ headphone outputs, which feature a direct mono/stereo switch and direct/USB mix knob. The two headphone outputs have independent volume controls, while source select switches let you create mixes to suit your and your artist’s needs.

Two 3.5mm MIDI ports are used with included MIDI adapters to provide MIDI in and out, allowing for the connection of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, and other external MIDI gear. The integrated Crystal Preamps provide transparent, low-noise operation to help you capture the very best sound from your favorite microphones, exactly the way you intended. The A/D converters feature pristine 24-bit digital audio with a broad dynamic range that captures every nuance and subtlety of the performance. Additionally, the AIR 192|14 utilizes a high-speed USB connection for low round-trip latency (2.59ms) between your computer and your hardware. What’s more, a monitor mix control allows you to listen directly to the source inputs for zero-latency performance. The AIR 192|14 is powered by an included 12 VAC power adapter and ships with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable. A comprehensive suite of software is also included.
