Neumann’s KH 120 nearfield studio monitor demonstrates the no-compromise sound quality and impeccable build standards you can expect from Neumann. The “KH” in the product name stands for Klein + Hummel, a company long associated with world-class professional monitoring, now folded into the Sennheiser group and being marketed under the Neumann brand. The KH 120 is ideal for tracking, mixing, and mastering in music, broadcast, and post-production studios.

The Mathematically Modeled Dispersion waveguide

The magnetically-shielded aluminum cabinet is loaded with a long-throw, composite-sandwich 5.25″ woofer and a titanium-fabric 1″ dome tweeter, each driven by an onboard 50-watt high-headroom Class AB amplifier. The front baffle incorporates Neumann’s Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide, which helps produce a broad sweet spot and smooth off-axis response. In a stereo configuration, the KH 120 delivers a stable image with a satisfying sense of depth.
