The Ibanez Artwood AW54JR is an all-mahogany cutaway dreadnought junior that looks amazing and delivers wonderful acoustic tone. The AW54JR features a solid mahogany top that will increase in harmonic richness as it ages, as well as mahogany back and sides. An ovangkol bridge and fingerboard also support the tonal richness and complexity of this instrument.

The compact, 91% size of regular dreadnought, body enables guitarists to both carry and play it in several situations; on the couch, outdoors, on stage, and at smaller, lighthearted and fun events where a full size acoustic is not necessary. Also both the 607mm short scale which allow less string tension and the large frets make it easier for beginners to press on the strings.
The elbow contour of the body provides playing comfort and the compact body serves to make it easier to hold the guitar. It suits all the demands of a beginner guitarist, but at the same time it is also designed for the most demanding masters of the instrument.
